- How’d you do on your uberlist? I haven’t tallied last year’s yet, but I have started a draft of 107 for 2007. I’m up to 72, I think? Lots of action at Uberlist Central this time of year. There’s also a thread for Uberlists over at the Disgruntled Housewife Country Club. I’m bullying McCubbin into playing along.
- CASANOVA is a Comics Should Be Good “Best Ongoing Series.”
- I’ve got two knitting events coming up that I’m really excited about — a Continental Knitting and Norwegian Purl class and a Knitting Retreat at The Elms. I’ve already toyed with Continental — I use a two handed feed/throw for colorwork — but I don’t even know what a Norwegian purl is. (Okay, well, now I do.) So that should be fun. And Nikol and I are rooming together for the Knitting Retreat at the Elms, so that should be awesome. I’m feeling my stress right now. A retreat sounds like just the thing.
- Yo, Minxes: Hall’s Winter Fashion Clearance starts Thursday, Jan. 4. If I remember correctly, they have incredible shoe deals this time of year. I think Meshel Cook was telling me about this last year. Just sayin’.

- Can I just say how much I love Studio 360? So, so much. I like to listen to podcasts while I’m walking the dog. My two favorites are Studio 360 and 43 Folders. The final segment of the “Mad Dogs and Englishmen” Studio 360 ep really got me thinking about psychological gesture and comics. It’s on my list to blog about in more depth when I have the time.

- Look here to find out what to send in care packages to soldiers in Iraq. Apparently the women could really use tampons. This both breaks my heart and puts my own problems in perspective. Hellooooo, Costco.

Im stealing you list item number 22 fpr mine too. I think this is my 4th year for ubering!
I totally suffer from that!!!!!!!!!!! and my apartment is only about 450 sq ft! I need to go over my list and see how many I completed and I am waiting for my disgruntled datebook to arrive to finialize this yearws list.
ps we are planning on paris this summer!!!!! after 11 years together and 11 years of me whining I want to go to paris it looks like it might finally happen!
I have about 50% of my uberlist drafted out. Will solidify things this weekend. Looking forward to another year of seeing what I can get accomplished.
