It&#039;s one of the log files that gets rotated daily (weekly?), and there&#039;s a bug in the script that does the rotating, so the new log&#039;s permissions don&#039;t get reset. It&#039;s theoretically exploitable, if you run as an admin, and if someone can finagle something useful out of your secure.log, but no biggie.</description>
