Kelly Sue DeConnick lives in Portland, OR, with her husband, writer Matt Fraction and little Henry Leo. They are expecting their second child, a girl they'll call "Tallulah," in April 2010.

Professionally, DeConnick writes comics and adapts manga into English. Credits include the English scripts for Kare First Love, Black Cat, Sexy Voice and Robo and Blue Spring.

She co-wrote 30 Days of Night: Eben & Stella with Steve Niles for artist Justin Randall.
