Okay, so I dropped the ball on the 5 blog posts a week thing.  Progress, not perfection, right?

  • First off, FEAR ITSELF #2 is out today!  Pick it up at your local comic book shop or order online from Midtown Comics!
  • Big thanks to Marvel West for inviting us to the Thor premiere in Hollywood.  The movie was gorgeous and we had a lot of fun.  (Not for anything, but I have to say my husband was smoking hot in his suit.)
  • Also also, I stood about 4 feet from Tadanobu Asano and I meeped.
  • I’m starting to see the colors come in on Supergirl 65 and they’re pretty, pretty, pretty.
  • MTV Geek News had some nice things to say about Osborn 5.

  • First up–the Challengers signing in Chicago on May 25th has a Facebook event page!  And–ha ha–the joke’s on me: all that nonsense I spewed in email about arm-wrestling and free cookies?  They put it on the poster.  So now I’m going to do my damnedest to follow through.  To wit, I’m going to need help figuring out how to do the cookies.  SOMEONE must make an Iron Man helmet cookie cutter that I can adapt for Rescue, yeah?  I figure Osborn should be round and stenciled…?
  • Speaking of Chicago, I can’t believe Portland doesn’t have Derby Lite.  I don’t know where I’d find the time, but I’m still jealous.
  • Matt Fraction answers your questions about Fear Itself!
  • Mike_FTW’s F*CK YOU, PAY ME. Video.  A must for all creative professionals.

  • Mick Ebeling does the impossible. Mick and his family are friends from back when Fraction was with MK12.  What they’ve been able to accomplish brought tears to my eyes, humbled and inspired me.  I hope it does the same for you.  The Not Impossible Foundation.
